About Us
The largest governance event in the Netherlands
Holland's largest boardroom event
The National Congress of Public Administration (LCB) is the largest public administration event in the Netherlands. This congress annually attracts about two hundred visitors, consisting of students and (young) professionals where a (current) public administration issue is central. The conference will attempt to link theory and practice. This is done through lectures by renowned speakers, as well as workshops and master classes. In addition, students will have the opportunity to orient themselves for a possible work or internship position with one of our many partners.
The forerunner of the LCB was the National Public Administration Day (LBD). From 1988, a National Research Day was organized annually in addition to this day. The decision followed to merge the two events into a two-day “National Congress of Public Administration,” and the first LCB took place in 2001. To date, the LCB has been organized out of the National Congress of Public Administration Foundation. The board members of this foundation this year are seven Political Science students at the University of Amsterdam.
